Trans-Lux Appoints New Executives to Lead High Profile Initiatives
Two Seasoned Professionals Tapped for Senior Level Positions
Trans-Lux Corporation (TLX), a recognized leader in digital signage solutions, today announced two new appointments to its senior executive management team. Joining Trans-Lux are Jeff Knapp as Executive Vice President Sales/Chief Marketing Officer and Drew Aldrich as Chief Strategy Officer. Trans-Lux President and CEO J.M. Allain made the announcement from the company’s corporate headquarters in Connecticut.

In his new role at Trans-Lux, Mr. Knapp will lead the company’s marketing and sales with the objective of increasing market performance through new strategic initiatives with key partners and clients. He is also tasked with restructuring the sales and marketing organizations to enhance business activity. Prior to joining Trans-Lux, Mr. Knapp served as President and COO of an emergency messaging and communications technology company. He was previously Vice President of Marketing for On-Net Surveillance Systems Inc. (OnSSI), a market leader in IP-based video management software, and Executive Vice President of Store Automated Solutions, a retail technology company. Mr. Knapp holds a BA degree from Yale University and an MBA from the Stern School of Business at New York University.
Mr. Aldrich comes to Trans-Lux with a strong financial and operational background gained in the public and private sectors. His primary responsibility is to implement a comprehensive restructuring of the company’s financial and operational activities that will enable Trans-Lux to move forward with renewed strength. His previous experience was as founder and CEO of Calendarfly.com, an education technology company. He also served with distinction as an Analyst at Standard and Poor’s in the Structured Finance Division. Mr. Aldrich has a BA degree in Economics from the University of Rochester.
